Backstreet Boys Singer Howie Dorough: 'We're Having A Baby Boy!'
It’ll be (another) boy for Howie Dorough!
The Backstreet Boys singer, who is celebrating his 39th birthday this week (seriously, he’s that old?), took to his Twitter page on Aug. 20 to announce that he and wife Leigh are expecting their second son.
What did he say?
“Thanks to family, friends & fans for all the amazing birthday wishes,” Dorough tweeted. “This year I'm receiving the best gift from my wife another baby boy!”
This is the second child for Dorough, who has a 3-year-old son, James Hoke, with Leigh. The two wed in December of 2007.
Dorough was celebrating his birthday a bit early -- it fell on August 22 -- but he told his Twitter followers that he's already received the best b-day present possible.
“I know it’s not until Wed, but I already feel like I am having an incredible bday with the baby boy news and all of the amazing bday wishes!” he wrote.
In other Backstreet Boys news, Dorough and his bandmates -- Brian Littrell, 37, A. J. McLean, 34, Nick Carter, 32, and Kevin Richardson, 40 -- are slated to perform during Good Morning America's Summer Concert Series on August 31st, in what will be the band’s first performance since Richardson rejoined the group.
The Backstreet Boys are also currently working on their eighth studio album, slated for a spring 2013 release.
