Ah, the "claw machine" -- one of man's biggest challenges. What's the secret to beating that mean piece of metal?

One of the many perks of being on the road is learning the tricks of the trade, and Andy Grammer, 28, shows Celebuzz how it's done in his newest video.

As the 28-year-old singer crosses the country with his tour, Celebuzz gets to go along for the ride through his webisode series — getting a glimpse of what goes on when you head cross country with Train and lead singer, Patrick Monahan.

How does Andy defeat the claw?

"This is one of my gifts," he boasts. "Never give in. Never surrender."

A phrase that he probably crosses over to his professional life too, as it has taken hard work and dedication to get where he is today -- having shared the stage with acclaimed singer-songwriters Taylor Swift and Colbie Caillat.

Despite a grueling tour schedule, Grammer has also released major hit singles "Keep Your Head Up" and "Fine by Me."

Watch the video above to see if Andy was able to keep his eyes on the prize.
