One Direction Makes a Splash on Set of 'Live While We're Young' Video (PHOTOS)
The boys -- Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson,Liam Payne and Niall Horan -- filmed the clip in the county of Kent in England, alongside a slew of lucky young extras. The video is for the group's new single "Live While We're Young," the first track off their forthcoming album.
What can you expect from it?
As for the concept, it looks like One Direction hosts one epic end-of-summer party. The bizarre set featured a pool, trampoline, teepee, hay barrels, an inflatable microphone and a giant inflatable banana.
Fans will be pleased to see their teen idols frolicking in the water. Irish cutie Horan even stripped down, revealing his bare chest. Meanwhile, ladies' man Styles was practically shirtless as he danced around in his soaked white t-shirt.
Last week, the boys announced that "Live While We’re Young" will be released on October 1. Columbia Records describes the track as an “energy packed song, mixing rock undertones with smooth harmonies, about living for the moment.”
1D’s eagerly awaited second album is due for release in November 2012. The record will see the pop band collaborate with some of music’s biggest names, including former collaborators Ed Sheeran and McFly’s Tom Fletcher plus superstar producers Dr. Luke, Shellback and songwriter Toby Gad. The pop phenoms' debut album, Up All Night, went to No. 1 in the U.S.
In Spring 2013, One Direction will begin their sold out World Tour in the U.K., which includes an unprecedented nine shows at London’s O2 Arena.
