The series adds an original character to the AMC show.
If you’re anything like us, you’re covering your eyes for most of each episode of AMC’s The Walking Dead. Well this season, there will more than zombies to keep us shivering with fright.

In the poster for the upcoming third season of the show we’re told it’s time for Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and the crew to “Fight the dead. Fear the Living.”

What obstacles will our band of survivors face besides zombies?

This new poster hints that much of the action will go down in the prison as Rick is standing on top of a turned over bus with the West Georgia correctional facility in the background. But why we wonder is he standing alone?

With the prison being one of the major settings for Season 3, we’ll also get the introduction of Woodbury and the much-anticipated debut of the Governor (David Morrissey). A major villain in the comics, fans are anxious to see how his role in the story of our survivors will translate to the small screen.

Comic book favorite Michonne (Danai Gurira) will also make her official introduction this season after saving Andrea (Laurie Holden) from death in the second season finale. As Celebuzz previously reported, Dallas Roberts will be playing a completely original character, Milton, who is a resident of Woodbury.
