We're less than a week away from the Season 4 premiere of Glee, and Celebuzz has the scoop on the episode, titled "The New Rachel."

For those of you worried about the FOX series' new split format, we can happily report that co-creator Ryan Murphy and the show's writers have managed to seamlessly balance the two locations. In fact, "The New Rachel" returns to Glee's roots, and with a hoard of new characters, it feels eerily like Season 1.

Unfortunately for Finchel shippers, there's no sign of Finn (Cory Monteith) in the first episode except for a few photos, but that doesn't mean that Rachel's (Lea Michele) giving up on her man. She still has hope -- and all of you should too. Although Brody (Dean Geyer) -- and his abs -- are a nice distraction.

Meanwhile, back at McKinley, some of the show's more dormant characters finally get their time to shine now that the glee club's power players have moved on. Look out for some key scenes between New Directions' new Fierce Five -- Artie (Kevin McHale), Blaine (Darren Criss), Brittany (Heather Morris), Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz) and Unique (Alex Newell).

What else can you expect from the premiere? We've got the scoop!

1. Someone got inked over the summer.

In the second season premiere, Quinn Fabray revealed that she got an "ironic tattoo of Ryan Seacrest" over the summer. When Season 3 kicks off, another member of New Directions has gotten inked: Tina! Her tat reads, "Make Change Forever" -- and it shouldn't take gleeks very long to figure out the tattoo's significance.

2. Meet Kitty, McKinley's latest glee-otch.

Kitty, played by newcomer Becca Tobin, is a sophomore Cheerio -- and Sue Sylvester's (Jane Lynch) new "Head Bitch." Think of her as a mix of Season 1 Quinn and Season 2 Santana. Let's just say that Sam (Chord Overstreet) has a new nickname. Say bye-bye to "White Chocolate" and hello to "Richie Poor."

3. And then there's Marley, the "new Rachel."

Sure, she may not be Broadway-bound, but Marley (Melissa Benoist) is arguably the best new voice in the glee club. She's pretty much the equivalent of Rachel Berry in Season 1: An amazing voice with a horrible fashion sense. But don't let her love of ugly hats distract you from her adorkable personality. Marley is so sweet, she'll give you a toothache -- kind of like Mandy Moore in A Walk to Remember. But in the season premiere, she's also hiding one huge secret.

4. Don't forget Puck's half-brother Jake!

Sorry, Brody, but when it comes to Glee's new hunks, we're on Team Jake (Jacob Artist). As McKinley's newest badboy, Jake is reminiscent of his older brother Puck. However, it looks like the younger Puckerman is more of a lone wolf. Did we mention that his solo will make you swoon? No wonder all of the ladies love him. Yes, we're talking about Sugar -- and perhaps someone else.

5. Klaine might just make you cry.

Get your tissues ready, Klaine fans. Blaine and Kurt (Chris Colfer) share a moving scene in the McKinley courtyard -- you know, the same place where Blaine Warbler serenaded Kurt with Keane's "Somewhere Only We Know" -- and of course, it ends in song.

6. But Burt Hummel will most definitely make you cry.

Can we just give Burt (Mike O’Malley) the Best TV Dad Ever Award now? Despite only having a minute of screen time, Burt shares a few words of wisdom with his son.

7. Britanna problems?

Brittany really misses Santana (Naya Rivera), who is pretty busy with cheerleading practice at the University of Louisville. And it's kind of putting a strain on their relationship. As Brittany says, it's really hard to "scissor through a webcam." Yes, that was Brittany's best line.

8. Winter is coming!

We knew that the cast of Glee were big fans of Game of Thrones -- especially Kevin McHale and Lea Michele -- and the Season 4 premiere gives a nod to the HBO drama.

9. Kate Hudson should be a series regular.

Cassandra July might just be our favorite new character of the season. Glee kicks off Season 4 with a glimpse at Rachel's life at NYADA -- starting with dance class. Everyone knows that Cassandra July is hard as nails -- but a recommendation from Cassie could get you on Broadway (as a Flying Monkey, but hey, that's still Broadway!). Of course, Mr. Schue's little superstar wasn't quite used to Cassandra's teaching methods -- leading to a brutal introduction. Oh, Rachel. NYADA Rule #1: Never throw shade at your teachers! Save your shade for your awful roommate.

Glee kicks off its fourth season on Sept. 13 at 9 PM on FOX.

Tike ! Please don't do that to me ! :(

  • hannah

I agree I got to have my finchel NO Another guy for Rachel only Finn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Haylee

I'm hoping that until Finchel reunite, because that WILL happen, Rachel and Finn remain single and work on everything else. That's what they need right now. I will definitely miss Finn until he is back.

  • Josie

Glee just isn't the same without Finn or Finchel. I cannot wait for his return. I want to see Finn go to NYC to be with Rachel. She doesn't need anyone distracting her. I want to see her be a star on Broadway and be with her true love Finn. Rachel can have it all.

  • Kate

I can't wait to see how Rachel and Kurt story line in NYC plays out, but what I can't really wait is for Finn to come back and to see what his story is. Most of all I want to see what is going to happen with Finchel not interested in Dean/Brody at all I just want to see Finn and Rachel find their way back to each other and their life in NYC with Kurt and Santana. I also want to see the returning Seniors that we know and love take the spotlight in Ohio

  • amanda

I really just wanna see Finn and Rachel together and happy. I've loved seeing their relationship develop over the past seasons.

  • Debra

Jen, there are other parts of this fandom that are lot more whiny than Finchel fans. Especially the ones who seem to be obsessed with how many kisses their favorite couple gets when there have explanations for it by the actors who play their favorite couple. In fact when people make comments like yours thinking that they are speaking for the entire fandom makes me wish they would go away so I don't have to hear them complain and guess what, I didn't have to get my point across by using profanity.

  • Catherine

Excited as there looks like there's going to be very little Finchel for a few episodes. Finn is the absolute worst. I'm actually going to watch this season now

  • Dee

    Finn and Finchel please. Thanks

  • Lisa

I want my Finchel together in NYC Brody maybe hot but finn holds Rachel's heart.

  • jen

Seriously you dont know shit about him okay??Dean seems like a great guy so leave the judgmental attitude at home please... it's fine that you are pissed about finchel or whatever but quit acting like a spoiled 3 year old please! And quite honestly I definitely saw lots of chemistry oozing out of the photoshoot and the pics in NY between dean and lea so...

  • jen

Finchel stans are annoying whiney babies tbh... The whole show has been about their beloved finn and rachel and now for the first time that its not going their way they're complaining and moping... lol you guys just stop watching seriously... its better than listening to you guys complain and shit

  • Kaitlyn

I will never give up on my Finchel, ever! They will get back together :)

  • Holly

Hold on, Finn isn't in the premiere??????? I was waiting all summer to see what happens to him and Rachel and now I read she is "distracted" by another guy? I seriously have whiplash from this show and I don't want to see that!! Bring me back Finn!

  • Anna

Exactly!! He's all about himself and on a show like glee you can't be like that!

  • Linsey

Never giving up hope on Finchel even when the worst happens. I'll be more interested in watching when Finn finally returns and they put my favorite couple back together where they belong.

  • bruce

I find a little interesting that since we know about Brody all we hear was how "great" their chemistry was that in every interview Dean always talked about the chemistry between him and Lea and maybe its just me but in the photoshoot I cant see the chemistry at all and its wear because Lea has chemistry with almost everyone even with the girls and he’s not bothering to make connections with the wider cast & crew and is making everything he says be about himself, not the show I find him a little annoying

  • mary

    finchel finchel finchel finchel finchel

  • VANE

ONE THING #FINCHELISFOREVER i can't see glee without Finn :(

  • loki

maybe he has the talent but he is lack of charisma

  • Nikki

I'll watch when Finn and Rachel return.

  • Mia

No Finn? No no no. This is not a good idea. I want Finchel together in NY!

  • loki

cool but without the canadian boy aka cory monteith aka finn hudson it's not that great how it used to be .

  • Mike

Stay away Brody. Finchel is forever

  • Eileen

I have seen the Dean guy in some interviews and he seems pretty arrogant so that is a complete turn off for me I don't care what he looks like. The Jacob kid seems pretty down to earth so I hope I like his character.

  • Anna

Yes a person can be hot but they have to have the talent to keep up on a show like glee and I don't think he has what it takes

  • Anna

I don't like this Dean guy, he seems really full of himself

  • Amy

What a bummer we will not see Finn and Rachel in the season opener together. I watch for those characters. When will Finn be back? I think I will wait to watch....I don't wanna see Rachel distracted by a guy that looks plastic.

  • Fernanda

I'm not looking foward to this season until Finn is back and we get our happy Finchel

  • Pam

I am so sad Finn isn't in this episode and I could care less about the distraction for Rachel. It really makes no sense for her to even be interested.

  • mafer

I really don't care about Brody's "rockin'body". It doesn't feel like glee without Finn there and with Finchel apart!

  • Jenna

The lack of Finchel makes this episode so unappealing.

  • Rachel

I can't wait to see Rachel in New York and her and Finn's story together this season!

  • Kait

    Finchel Forever!!!!!!

  • Kate

Yeah no Finn or Quinn. Season 4 looking up
