The actor, who made his breakthrough as the Son of Odin in Kenneth Branagh’s 2011 comic book adaptation, was spotted dispatching adversaries – complete with stunt double in tow.

The Dark World is being directed by Alan Taylor, who made his feature debut with the 1995 film Palookaville but made a name for himself in television -- most notably as the helmer of HBO’s acclaimed series Game of Thrones.
