Christina Aguilera is ready to reclaim her throne as pop music’s top diva. The pop star — and current Voice mentor — announced that her new single, “Your Body,” will be released on Friday.

“Thank you so much for today! Album comes out in November.#YourBody out Friday! Love you all! XoXtina,” the pop idol tweeted. Aguilera also revealed the name of her forthcoming album: Lotus.

But what’s the meaning behind the album title?

“Album title: Lotus. Representing an unbreakable flower that survives under the hardest conditions and still thrives,” she tweeted on Wednesday.

This will be Aguilera’s first album since 2010’s underwhelming Bionic. The singer promises that Lotus will have a little something for everyone.

“Conceptually, I didn’t target one particular sound/genre,” Aguilera tweeted during a Q&A with her fans. “I made [music] that felt good.”

The singer also revealed that a sneak peek of her music video for “Your Body” will premiere on The Voice next Monday. Aguilera described the video as “playful tongue and cheek.”

“Your Body” was produced by hit-maker Max Martin. Are you excited for Xtina’s new music? Sound off in the comments!
