Anne Hathaway Picks Valentino to Design Her Wedding Dress (PHOTOS)
Anne Hathaway hasn't started planning her wedding to Adam Shulman yet, but the Les Miserables star knows what designer she'll be wearing.
The stylish starlet, who is known for killing it on the red carpet in glam gowns, has tapped her good friend Valentino Garavani to design her wedding dress, the perma-tanned designer revealed to E! last night at the New York City Ballet Gala.
Implying that the dress is ready walk down the aisle as soon as the couple is, Garavani told E! he "did it."
"She's [Hathaway] a very good friend of mine," the designer added. "She's like my daughter!"
What else did the designer have to say about Hathaway's wedding?
Clearly a big fan of the 29-year-old actress, the designer gushed about her star-power and upcoming performance in Les Miserables.
"She's sensational," Valentino told E!. "She's fantastic. She's a girl that...She deserves what she has in this life. [That] means, she's already a great star. But she's going to be a great, great, great, great thousand times great star. She has all the qualities."
Unfortunately, he wouldn't reveal any more details about Hathaway's dress — or wedding.
And it looks like we may have to wait awhile to see the Valentino gown. In July, the actress claimed to be too busy to start planning her big day.
Still, we wouldn't be surprised if Hathaway and Shulman pull a Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds and stage a surprise wedding soon. After all, the actress has the most important part done — the wedding dress.
In the meantime, we can speculate what her gown might look like. A Valentino devotee, Hathaway often appears on the designer's arm clad in one of his frothy creations.
