Emmys 2012: Claire Danes, Damian Lewis Win for 'Homeland' (VIDEO)
It was a clean sweep for Homeland in the Emmy categories for Lead Actor and Lead Actress in a Drama Series, which were handed out Sunday night at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles.
As expected, Claire Danes took home the award for her riveting performance as Carrie Mathison, a CIA agent battling bipolar disorder.
In her humble, yet quirky speech, the pregnant star -- who was arguably the biggest lock of the night -- took time to thank everyone from her fellow-cast members to her "baby daddy," Hugh Dancy.

Just prior to her speech, Danes' co-star, Damian Lewis, shocked just about everyone and their mother by taking home the award for Lead Actor, beating heavy favorite and three-time winner Bryan Cranston.
That was only the start of their luck, as Homeland took home the Emmy for Best Dramatic Series.
