The New Girl star stunned in a pale-blue strapless tiered tulle Reem Acra gown. With her dark locks swept up in a low bun and sparkling in Forevermark jewels, Deschanel showed some skin with her low-cut sweetheart neckline.

"She wanted to look like a princess," revealed E! Fashion Police host Kelly Osbourne.
Deschanel, who is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, even added a dash of dork to her classy ensemble. The night ahead of the awards show, Deschanel tweeted a snap of her tips adorned with images of old-school TV sets. “Televisions on my thumbnails…for the #emmys!" the star wrote.
