Lindsay Lohan Hospitalized for Asthma, Rep Says She's 'Doing Fine'
Just days after being arrested for a reported hit-and-run, the actress was admitted to a New York City emergency room with asthma, Celebuzz has confirmed.
"Lindsay was treated and released, and is doing fine," Lohan's rep Steve Honig tells Celebuzz.
According to TMZ, sources close to the Liz & Dick actress said that Lohan checked into Mt. Sinai Hospital last night due to a bad lung infection, but her rep confirmed to Celebuzz that it was actually for asthma.
The symptoms weren't a sudden onset of illness -- according to TMZ , LiLo has been telling pals that she has been suffering from what she thought was "walking pneumonia" for a few weeks — but last night things took a turn for the worse, landing the star in emergent care.

Already on the road the recovery, Lohan is said to have received antibiotics and other medication to treat her infection. According to TMZ, she has left the hospital facilities and is now recovering in her Big Apple hotel room.
