Now that Nicki Minaj has signed on for American Idol, is the rapper looking to increase her television exposure even more with her very own reality show? Well, she says, she’s “considering it.”

The MC hinted that she may let even more cameras into her life in an interview with Perez Hilton. “That I’m going to keep a secret for now,” she said, when asked if she was working on another show in addition to her Idol judging duties. But she’s still “considering” the idea.

Why does Minaj want to let the cameras into her life?

“I will say that I find the more people see, is the more they understand, and then it’s the more they like you,” she explained. “When you pull them in your world, they see you as a real person. I’m not running away from it anymore.”

The gossip site reports that Minaj has already signed off on a series and is already filming. It will reportedly air on the E! Network, the home of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. However, Minaj and the network have yet to confirm the news. At press time, E! had yet to respond to Celebuzz‘s request for comment.

With a new album, celebrity fragrance, an upcoming clothing line and her stint on the Fox singing competition, Minaj would have plenty to talk about. Not to mention that she’d give Kim Kardashian a run for her money as E!’s most divalicious star.

If Minaj does join the network, she’ll be further cementing her ties with her Idol costar Ryan Seacrest, who produces E!’s top-rated series, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and its spin-offs Khloe and Lamar, Kourtney and Kim Take New York and Kourtney and Kim Take Miami. Plus, Seacrest’s on-air work with E! News gives the network an “in” to Idol‘s backstage goings-on, a link that would be further strengthened by having Minaj become an E! regular. Celebuzz cannot yet confirm if Seacrest will be involved in Minaj’s project.

American Idol will premiere in January 2013.
