Hilary Duff Celebrates 25th Birthday: Her Career Evolution (GALLERY)
Hilary Duff celebrates her quarter century birthday on Friday, but the singer-actress isn't slowing down anytime soon. Since catching her big break as the lead character in Disney Channel series Lizzie McGuire, Duff has blazed the Billboard charts, charmed in made-for-TV movies, starred in big-screen romcoms and even romanced Penn Badgley in Gossip Girl.
Then in 2010, Duff took a break from her fast-track career to star a family. After tying the knot with former hockey player Mike Comrie, Duff welcomed son Luca in March of this year.
But now the former Disney darling is setting her sights on a comeback.
Duff is readying to return to where it all began — on the small screen.
In August, Duff inked a one-year talent and development deal with 20th Century Fox to produce and star in a new half-hour comedy show. "Ok it's official!" she tweeted at the time. "Very excited about my development deal with 20th century fox!! t.v. here I come! :)"
And there may even be new music in the works. According to reports, Duff was spotted in a recording studio in July, perhaps prepping a follow up to her 2007 album, Dignity.
What do you think was her high point? Sound off in the comments.
