Jessica Alba On Juggling Motherhood and Acting: 'I Don't Think I Balance It Very Well' (VIDEO)
Jessica Alba may be a supermom in fans' eyes, but the Machete actress doesn't think that's the case.
The 31-year-old, who nabbed the prestigious Green Parent Award for founding eco-friendly baby firm The Honest Company at the Environmental Media Awards this weekend, confessed that it's hard for her to juggle between motherhood and business.
"I don't think I balance it very well," she told Celebuzz on the red carpet.
Which comes first for Alba: mommy duties or acting?
"I feel like I'm always compromising something, but my kids' happiness [is] my priority," she said. "Everything else is secondary, and I just try to do my best."
Alba, who's the proud mom of daughters Honor and Haven with husband Cash Warren, also opened up about her kids being the inspiration behind her company.
"I definitely was inspired by my children to start The Honest Company," she said. "I feel like a company like ours is necessary. We are changing the world one client at a time."
