Khloe Kardashian, Mario Lopez Set as ‘X Factor’ Co-Hosts (REPORT)
Extra host — and former Saved by the Bell star — Mario Lopez will allegedly join Kardashian as co-host of the X Factor live shows, which kick off in November.
How much is the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star banking from the deal?
As Celebuzz previously reported, the deal is being finalized. However, TMZ sources report that the announcement will be made sometime this week — and Cowell’s decision to go with a Kardashian came at a hefty price tag.
While the reality star isn’t making a Britney Spears-size fortune — the pop star signed a $15 million contract to judge X Factor — Kardashian will take home millions for the gig. Meanwhile, Cowell is banking on the E! starlet’s popularity to bring in huge ratings for the struggling Fox singing competition.
In September, Cowell confirmed that Kardashian was a serious contender for the gig. The executive producer told Ellen DeGeneres on her show, “It could be a Kardashian. I think that would work.” The snarky judge followed up by saying, “We have to find people who have a great chemistry, but Khloe is definitely up there in running.”
