'Vampire Diaries' Star Kat Graham Talks Ian Somerhalder's Leadership and Season 4 (VIDEO)
The Vampire Diaries’ Kat Graham is a big supporter of her co-stars.
She was on hand this weekend at the 2012 Environmental Media Awards to present her friend and co-star Ian Somerhalder with the EMA Futures award for his work with his foundation, the Ian Somerhalder Foundation. The foundation aims to empower, educate and collaborate with people and projects to positively impact the planet and its creatures.
When Celebuzz caught up with the star on the green carpet prior to the event, she told us that she was unbelieveably excited for him. “This is a huge thing for him," she said. "This is for some of the most influential people when it comes to saving the world, literally saving the world as possible.”
She also told us that unlike the relationships between Somerhalder and his girlfriend Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley and Torrey DeVito, she would not date one of her co-stars.
What did Graham, 23, tell us is in store for Bonnie on the upcoming season of The Vampire Diaries?
With the pictures and previews for the Season 4 premiere, we know Bonnie will be doing some major magic as Elena makes her transition to the undead.
The star told us that Bonnie "finds a mentor in Professor Shane (David Alpay), a new character that’s coming on to help her harness herself."
We’ve heard that the college professor and Bonnie know each other through her family and that he has a past researching vampires. Could he be a possible love interest for the character? We'll have to wait and see.
The fourth season premiere will primarily deal with Elena's transition to the undead after she died with vampire blood in her system during last season's finale. Bonnie will attempt to do whatever she can to stop the transition, but it looks like she may be in trouble.
The Vampire Diaries returns Thursday, Oct. 11 at 8 PM on The CW.
