'Pitch Perfect' Star Rebel Wilson Takes on Salt-n-Pepa's 'Shoop' With Ellen DeGeneres (VIDEO)
Rebel Wilson and Ellen DeGeneres are so gangster, it’s ridiculous.
After Wilson, who appears on the show Thursday to promote the a capella flick Pitch Perfect, gave the talk show host a set of multiple finger rings to match her own, DeGeneres asked the actress to share her dream with the audience.
“I did once have a dream that I rapped with you and just like the audience just went crazy,” she said.
And with that, her dream came true. The audience went completely crazy and the two headed to the stage to do their own rendition of the classic Salt-N-Pepa song “Shoop.”
Who else did the Pitch Perfect star recently perform with?
On Monday night’s Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Wilson performed with help from Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston.
Cranston provided back-up vocals while Wilson belted out a hilarious rendition of Lady Gaga’s “Edge of Glory.”
The 26-year-old actress began singing during the show after Leno asked if she had to sing during her audition for Pitch Perfect.
Wilson, 26, has been all over the talk-show and late-night circuits promoting Pitch Perfect lately. She also made an appearance on Conan O’Brien during which she discussed an anonymous letter from her neighbor that asked her and roommate Matt Lucas (her on screen roommate in Bridesmaids) to stop singing.
Pitch Perfect is currently out in limited release and opens nationwide Oct. 5.
You can watch the entire rap above. Tune in to Ellen on Thursday at 4 PM on ABC to see Wilson's entire interview.
