One Direction's Niall Horan on Almost Getting a Tattoo on His Bum: 'It Wasn't the Best Idea in the World'

Niall Horan has always been the cheekiest member of One Direction -- but he almost took the superlative a little too far.

With his bandmates Harry Styles and Zayn Malik getting tatted up, Horan, 19, recently revealed to The Sun he once tried to get his tattoo -- on his bum.

“Harry and Zayn are going at it with the tattoos," he said. "They are covered now. Harry seems to have a different one every day."

So what did Horan want tattooed on his bum? 

"I decided to get Made In Ireland in green on my a** cheek, and I went to the place in LA where they do it. Me and the boys went in and they said they wouldn't do it."

He added: "They said the skin on your a** is too squidgy. It needs to be tight. I suspect they did me a favor. It wasn't the best idea in the world.”

The Irish singer also opened up about the time the boys blew "a lot" of cash at a casino in Australia last April.

He told The Sun: “I won £100, which seemed reasonable, then I stopped. I’ll have to say, ‘No comment’ about the others. Let’s just say it got a bit ugly and a lot of money was lost. A lot."

"In all honesty, I didn’t have a clue what was happening," he concluded.

But the boys shouldn't be too worried: They have reportedly pocketed over £100 million — or $160 million — over the last two years, according to a revised edition of Simon Cowell‘s biography, as reported by The Daily Mail.
