When The CW’s 90210 returns on Monday, many questions will be answered including what happened to Dixon (Tristan Wilds) in his horrific cliffhanger car accident.

Fans' jaws hit the floor last season when the finale ended with the singer’s car getting slammed as he was on his way back from tour to meet Adriana (Jessica Lowndes) in Los Angeles. Would he survive?

Meanwhile, Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) ended up with Max (Josh Zuckerman) after he left his bride at the altar; Silver (Jessica Stroup) chose Teddy (Trevor Donovan) as her baby daddy instead of Liam (Matt Lanter) or Navid (Michael Steger); Annie (Shenae Grimes) was breaking up with Caleb and Adrianna was leaving to tour with Austin’s (Justin Deely) dad.

Dixon’s accident will be a major plot point on the fifth season premiere with the return of his mother, Debbie (Lori Loughlin) to care for him. Furthermore, it will bring a new character into the mix as the season progresses.

Jessica Parker Kennedy, best known for her role on the CW’s short-lived Secret Circle, will be coming to 90210 this season as Megan, a girl who helps Dixon work through his issues at group therapy.

What did the actress say about her character's introduction to the series?

“Dixon and I meet at a group therapy meet where people come and talk about things that have happened to them or things that have happened to people that are really close to them,” she told us when she visited the Celebuzz studio.

What else did the actress spill about Dixon and Megan’s relationship this season?

Kennedy, 28, told us the two will build a strong bond together and that she has been primarily working with Wilds until that point. Her character, Megan, will first appear on Episode 4 and is currently set for a seven-episode arc.

As for what the two will discuss in therapy, she said, “My character personally hasn’t been through something but my father has been through something horrible.” She continued, “It’s an emotional therapy group where you’re just talking about the horrible things that you’ve been through.”

Teasing us about their plot line, she told us there is a huge scene that links the two together.

Could she possibly be a new love interest for the injured character?

Kennedy remained quiet regarding whether or not Megan and Dixon’s bond would venture into romantic territory.

However, she did divulge that meeting her character is very hard for Dixon at first but that their support for each other is integral for both characters. “My character is definitely a light in his life […] There’s a point when I say when Dixon is the only person that’s keeping me going right now. So, really, he’s more of a light in my life.”

You can watch Kennedy’s entire interview above.

Season 5 of 90210 premieres Monday at 8 PM on The CW with a special guest performance by Carly Rae Jepsen.
