Kate Middleton is On-Trend for Fall in Burgundy Skirt Suit: Trendspotting
For her first official public appearance since returning from her stylish Southeast Asia Diamond Jubilee tour, Kate Middleton sported a more seasonal look while accompanying Prince William to Middle Temple in London for the launch of a scholarship program in their name.
The picture of ladylike elegance, the Duchess of Cambridge could not have been more on-trend for fall in her two-piece skirt suit.
To transition her wardrobe into autumn, Middleton swapped the nude pumps she's been wearing recently for noir extras, including a black lace cami that peeked out from underneath her jacket. Black tights allowed the princess to get away with a shorter hemline than we typically see her wearing.
The jacket's pockets and ribbing on the skirt added rich texture to Middleton's suit for a more modern take on the proper ladies-who-lunch uniform.
Taking a break from the British designers the Duchess typically dons -- Jenny Packham, L.K. Bennett, Alexander McQueen -- Middleton's suit is by French label Paule Ka.
