Lady Gaga Channels 'Edward Scissor Hands,' Donning Gold Claws to Promote Her New Fragrance in London (PHOTOS)

Lady Gaga, 26, put her crazy hats and skin-revealing Versace get-ups aside and made a statement with her extravagant gold nail art on Sunday, as she stopped by Harrods London to celebrate the launch of her new fragrance, Fame.

While the pop icon has sported some pretty crazy nail art in the past, her spiked bedazzled gold claws just might take the cake.

What exactly were the claw-like contraptions on Gaga's hands?

Although Gaga's giant gilded fingerwear looked like something out of Edward Scissorhands, the bedazzled claws were actually oversized gold rings bedazzled with flowers and bees.

Like the rest of her wardrobe, Gaga's nail art was certainly over-the-top, but her finger jewelry wasn't a far cry from the enormous gold rings spotted at the Alexander McQueen's Spring 2013 runway show.

Letting her fancy fingerwear do all the talking, Gaga kept the rest of her look relatively simple -- especially for her -- donning a long, fitted black gown. The eccentric star even wore her newly-brown locks down and straight, though a beehive-like bump at the crown added volume up top.

This isn't the first time the pop star has sported extravagant gold accessories while promoting her sexy scent. At the U.S. launch, Gaga made a statement in a gold headband and dramatic long black dress.

Though Gaga's curve-skimming black gowns coordinated with the color of her unusual black perfume, we're not sure if the gilded extras are as alluring as Fame, which she  previously described as a "sexy" scent:

"It’s for someone that wants to seduce someone. You shouldn’t wear it if you’re not likely to look for a lover, because it’s going to attract them.”

While we're not sure if Gaga's claws will attract any suitors, they didn't scare off her fans, who crowded outside Harrods to catch a glimpse of the singer.

The Mother Monster thanked her fans for their support on Twitter on Monday:
