It’s official: Rihanna is the queen of the pop charts.

Billboard has released its list of top pop songs artist from the past two decades — and the “We Found Love” songstress sits comfortably at the no. 1 position.

Since the arrival of debut single “Pon de Replay” in 2005, the 24-year-old Bajan singer has appeared on Billboard‘s Pop Songs chart more than any other artist — with a combined total of 34 times. Rihanna has also notched 21 Top 10 singles and hit no. 1 nine times, which ties her with BFF Katy Perry for the most chart-topping tunes.

Where does Perry rank on the list?

Surprisingly, the “Wide Awake” crooner lands in sixth place on Billboard’s list, with Pink and Britney Spears rounding out first and second runner-up positions respectively.

Despite being in the business for only seven years, Rihanna also managed to beat out music heavyweights like Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson, both of whom hit the scene way before RiRi was discovered by mentor Jay-Z. This feat did not go unnoticed by Rihanna, who tweeted out response to the top honor Monday, writing:

Aside from nabbing the top spot on Billboard‘s list, Rihanna’s latest single “Diamonds” also debuted on the charts at no. 1 in the U.K. and France this week. The song’s lyrics are now available on DirectLyrics.
