Christina Hendricks: Ryan Gosling Is 'Everything You Want Him to Be'
Christina Hendricks confirmed Monday what everyone in the world already knew: Ryan Gosling is pretty awesome.
The Mad Men actress worked with Gosling on the 2011 noir drama Drive. The gig went so well, he went ahead and cast her in his upcoming directorial debut How to Catch a Monster, in which she'll play a single mother "swept into a macabre and dark fantasy underworld while her teenage son discovers a secret road leading to an underwater town," according to a press release.
Naturally, Hendricks said she felt "giddy' when she found out Gosling wanted her for the part.
"My manager called and said, ‘Ryan Gosling wants to call you, is it ok if I give him your number? And I was like, “YES! Yes, of course it’s OK!’" she said.
But while the Notebook hunk remains a fantasy flame for women all over the world, Hendricks said she won't be ditching her husband, Geoffrey Arend, for him anytime soon.
"Absolutely not!" she laughed, after NW Online pitched the indecent proposal. "I find [Gosling] incredibly talented and incredibly charming, but that thought never occurred to me!"
