‘Skyfall’ Trailer Features Adele’s Bond Theme, Daniel Craig Sex Scenes (VIDEO)

It’s official: after four days, Adele’s theme song for James Bond adventure Skyfall is a soaring success.

After debuting last Friday to mark the 50th anniversary of Dr. No, the 007 franchise’s big-screen launch, the new tune “Skyfall” — co-written by Adele and producer Paul Epworthhas — skyrocketed to No. 1 on iTunes, both in the United States and in many other countries across the globe.

And now, the hit is featured in the film’s brand-new trailer.

In the 70-second trailer released by Sony Pictures, Adele’s booming vocals bellow as spliced-together scenes show Daniel Craig’s gun-toting Bond shooting up foes and stripping down for a steamy shower scene with costar Naomie Harris.

Adele — who is expecting a baby with beau Simon Konecki — joins a long list of chart toppers who have sung for Bond over the course of 23 films. The long-running spy saga has featured the vocals of everyone from Paul McCartney and Nancy Sinatra to Alicia Keys and Madonna.

“I was a little hesitant at first to be involved with the theme song for Skyfall,” Adele said in a statement last week. “There’s a lot of instant spotlight and pressure when it comes to a Bond song. But I fell in love with the script…. When we recorded the strings, it was one of the proudest moments of my life.”

The new 007 flick — which costars Judi Dench and Javier Bardem and sees Craig in his third run as the iconic spy — hits theaters on Nov. 9.
