One Direction’s Harry Styles Says He’s No ‘Womanizer’ — But He Admits He’s ‘Too Flirty’
But Styles is just doing what any teenage boy his age would do, right? “I’m maybe too flirty,” he told The Sun. “But I’m an 18-year-old boy, and I like to have fun.” Styles has been previously linked to TV host Caroline Flack and DJ Lucy Horobin — both 32.
Nonetheless, he said reports of his womanizing ways have been greatly exaggerated. “I wouldn’t say I’m girl crazy, because that makes me sound like a bit of a womanizer,” Styles said. “That isn’t really me.”
With Styles’ reputation as a constant tabloid target, should his 1D bandmates be concerned?
Earlier this month, Zayn Malik said that, of his bandmates, he’s most concerned for Styles, telling The Sun, “He is the baby of the group, but people seem to forget that because of the way that he is and that he is so charming.”
Despite being able to laugh off most of the rumors, Malik said at times, the constant media attention on Styles is unsettling.
“So it is a little bit upsetting sometimes if you see him with the weight of the world on his shoulders. It does annoy us a bit. He’s a young kid, and people are just giving him grief for no reason,” he said.
Louis Tomlinson told Celebuzz that fans can expect a more “mature” album this time around.
“Obviously, there aren’t that many big changes, but I do think it’s just a better album,” he said. “It does sound a bit more mature. We want the album to grow with us. We’re a year older, so our music sounds a bit older, I suppose.”
Take Me Home hits shelves Nov. 13.
