The question of "boxers or briefs" has plagued Hollywood for decades -- but it seems like Tinseltown hunks nowadays are more opened to disclosing their choice in undergarments.

L.A. Galaxy star David Beckham -- who has modeled his skimpy skivvies for H&M in the past -- recently dished to Celebuzz that he has nothing against slipping into a pair of briefs.

"I like tighty-whities,” Beckham, 37, said with a smile. “Someone asked me about tighty whities the other day, and I love them! They’re comfortable. I think they feel great, especially when you’re playing soccer, as well."

In fact, the sexy Brit even flashed a group of unsuspecting tourist his skin-tight underwear just days after Celebuzz spoke to him about his favorite undergarments...

Journeying through the Los Angeles neighborhood’s star-studded streets, father-of-four bared his toned and tatted bod in nothing but his khaki-colored knickers as he shot a new advertisement in front of a sightseeing bus.

Needless to say, Beckham's underwear is definitely a sight these tourists will never forget.
