The words come from Pattinson’s co-star in the 2011 drama Water for Elephants: Uggie the dog.
With the help of his trainer and owner Omar Von Muller, the Jack Russell Terrier is releasing a tell-all book, appropriately titled Uggie — My Story.
So what did the pooch, who gave an unforgettable performance in The Artist, have to “say” about Pattinson?
“I never really got what the fuss was over Mr. P by the way (or RPattz, as his fans call him),” Uggie “writes” in an excerpt obtained by USA Today.
What else did Uggie say about RPattz, and which ‘Elephants’ co-star did the canine develop a close bond with?
“On any given day there’d be hordes of young female humans screaming for him at the studio gates,” Uggie confesses in the book, “but the supposedly smoldering biped couldn’t even skateboard as well as me.”
As for his other co-star, Reese Witherspoon, the actress apparently holds a special place in the dog’s heart.
“I adored her. On or off screen, the atmosphere between us was electrically charged,” Uggie writes in the book.
“She didn’t grow up with dogs. I don’t think she’s that kind of girl,” Uggie writes of the Modern Family star.
Uggie — My Story, arrives in stores Oct. 16.
