'Vampire Diaries' Star Kat Graham Talks Season 4: 'It's Like the Show Turned Into a Vampire' (VIDEO)
The Season 4 Premiere of The CW’s The Vampire Diaries will find Bonnie Bennett (Kat Graham) doing all she can to stop Elena’s (Nina Dobrev) transition to the undead, but that will be the only spell she is doing.
When Celebuzz caught up with Graham at The CW offices in Burbank, she told us, “There’s a lot of spellage going on in the first episode back.” Asked whether this “spellage” may have to do with Klaus (Joseph Morgan), she indicated that Bonnie is “being forced to do something she doesn’t necessarily want to do, but I can’t really say if it’s for Tyler (Michael Trevino) or for Bonnie. “
Take that for what you will but as we’ve already told you, Bonnie is a major badass on the Season 4 opener, “Growing Pains.”
What else did the star spill about the premiere and Bonnie’s journey in Season 4?
Graham told us that the first episode back is “insane” and thinks fans should be prepared to experience every emotion during the intense hour.
She added, “It’s not just Elena that her senses are heightened, the show is just heightened. It’s like the show turned into a vampire. That’s how I could explain Season 4. Everything that could have been or would have been is turned up, like the oven is set on 500.”
What can fans expect with Bonnie and Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) this season?
“She was left kind of feeling like I have no one,” Graham explained. “Everyone’s choosing other people other than me. Everyone. So I think building it from the ground up again would be a solid decision.”
As for what she’s excited about on this upcoming season, she is looking forward to working with David Alpae, who was cast as Professor Shane. Alpae will first appear on Episode 4 this season.

Season 4 of The Vampire Diaries premieres Thursday at 8 PM on The CW.
