Jennifer Hudson Channels Whitney Houston's Style at Grammy Tribute (PHOTOS)

Jennifer Hudson paid tribute to the late Whitney Houston's voice and style Thursday night at the We Will Always Love You: A Grammy Salute to Whitney Houston television special in Los Angeles.

The Oscar-winning actress, 31, arrived to the event in a tweed blazer, black turtleneck and washed-out jeans, channeling an identical look worn by Houston -- who died in February of accidental drowning -- at a 1987 concert.

Hudson also wore green eyeshadow and neon pink lipstick, and had her hair pulled back in true retro fashion.

During the taping, Hudson performed a medley of "I'm Every Woman," "How Will I Know" and "I Wanna Dance With Somebody," according to Reuters.

Hudson also paid tribute to Houston at the Grammys in February, when she performed a somber take on Houston's chart-topping classic "I Will Always Love You."

Other stars on hand for the event Thursday included Britney Spears, Halle Berry, Usher and Celine Dion, who taped a performance of "The Greatest Love of All" from Canada.
