Lana Del Rey doesn't do subtle.

The raspy singer has premiered her latest music video for her new single "Ride" -- and it's an epic 10-minute short film that's as nostalgic and expansive as anything she's ever done.

Welcome to Del Rey's vision of grandeur.

“There’s no use in talking to people who have a home,” she says at the beginning of her tale. “They have no idea what it’s like to seek safety in other people, for home to be wherever you lie your head."

Her voiceover, set against a gritty Las Vegas backdrop, recalls a happier time: an Indian summer full of sun-soaked motorcycle rides and desert romps with a biker gang of gruff middle-aged men.

"I believe in the country America used to be," says Del Rey, evoking the same sense of nostalgia that made her a music industry enigma.

By the video's end, Del Rey leaves her fans with a piece of advice, inspired by one of her own idols, James Dean. "Live fast, die young, be wild and have fun."

"Ride" is the singer's lead single from her forthcoming re-release, Born To Die -- The Paradise Edition, out November 13.
