‘Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars’ Sabrina Bryan Says She’s Thinking of the Fans ‘All the Time’
So, naturally, the 28-year-old actress says it’s their support that keeps her motivated when she steps out onto the Ballroom.
“They got me here,” Bryan told Celebuzz in a recent interview. “They gave me this chance to do well on the show and to be able to do what I love, which is performing.”
“I literally have them in the back of my head all the time,” she continued. “When [partner] Louis [van Amstel] is mapping out [this week's] Disco, it’s like ‘Oh, what can we do to get the fans to feel really included? What can we do to really wow them?'”
“Of course, you want to impress the judges,” Bryan continued. “But more than anything you want the viewers to be really impressed and be the ones who are jumping on the phone and online to vote for you.”
Still, Bryan admits she’s feeling the pressure as the competition heats up.
“I think, even though everyone’s having a lot of fun, the more you get into the competition, the more you don’t want to be the couple who goes home. It gets pretty intense,” she said.
“For the most part, the tension’s not being turned on anyone,” she continued. “You get irritated with yourself more than anyone else.”
“Louis has brought out more of a softer, elegant, more mature side of performing for me,” she said. “I’ve really, really enjoyed the transformation since I’ve been working with him.”
Thus far, things seem to be going swimmingly for the happy duo. In fact, as Bryan tells us, van Amstel even got Bryan a cruise for her birthday.
“I’ll be going on a cruise in the second or third week of December,” she said. “That’ll be really nice. I haven’t taken a vacation in quite awhile; I’ve kind of been working straight through.”
Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars airs Monday nights at 8 PM on ABC.
