'DWTS': Iconic Dances
Power shifts to the stars on the ABC competition.
The chemistry between Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars contestants Kelly Monaco and Val Chmerkovskiy is so hot, so rare, even they can’t explain how it all happened.

“That’s the unexplainable thing,” Monaco told Celebuzz at rehearsals for Monday night’s performance. “We don’t know why. It just [happened].”

Since All-Stars premiered in September, there has been rampant speculation that their flirty relationship on camera may be more than just platonic.

Is that actually true?

“What does that word mean?” Chmerkovskiy quipped.

“Tehy’re asking if we’re f****** or not,” Monaco replied.

“I have no idea what platonic means,” Chmerkovskiy concluded with a smile.

But while the conversation ended there, the couple — who will perform to Coldplay’s “Fix You” on Monday — did have plenty to say about this week’s guest judge, Paula Abdul.

“I think specifically this week, with everyone having a different style of dance, it’s probably more of her expertise,” Monaco said.

“It’ll be nice to have a friendly face sitting there.”
