Beyonce Performing at 2013 Super Bowl Halftime Show
Queen B is set to score a touchdown.
Though an anonymous source told AP that the official announcement is expected to come Wednesday, Beyonce has confirmed the performance on her blog with a gorgeous picture and the words "Countdown to Touchdown." The superstar singer will be the second diva in as many years to perform on the big stage. This year, Madonna took the stage along with Cee Lo Green, Nicki Minaj, LMFAO and M.I.A.
This isn't the “Single Ladies” singer's first time performing at the big game though.
The 31-year old previously performed the national anthem at the Super Bowl when the biggest event in sports was held in her hometown of Houston in 2004. The New England Patriots defeated the Carolina Panthers at that Super Bowl.
If there’s any good in the world, we hope that maybe her husband Jay-Z will also grace the stage with Bey. We’d also enjoy a reunion of Destiny’s Child.
Throw in some “Single Ladies” and “Run The World (Girls)” and this year’s halftime show will definitely be worth tuning into.Celebuzz'srequest for confirmation.
