Keira Knightley Says Skinny Jeans 'Were Invented to Make You Feel Bad About Yourself'
Keira Knightley is a bonafide fashionista, but there’s one trend that the actress refuses to get on-board with -- skinny jeans.
The Anna Karenina star confesses in the November issue of W magazine that she thinks “skinny jeans and micro miniskirts are very unfriendly.”
Despite taking a place among fashion's finest, as a Chanel muse and the face of the brand's Coco Mademoiselle fragrance, Knightley favors classic cuts and relaxed fits over leg-revealing skinnies and minis.
While skinny jeans don't appear to be going , especially in Hollywood, where everyone from Kristen Stewart to Lauren Conrad have made skinnies their mainstay, the 27-year-old actress is sticking to her style guns.
What is Knightley a fan of? Chanel, not surprisingly.
Even though hasn't started planning her wedding just yet, the bride-to-be hinted that Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld would be her dream designer for her wedding dress.
“That would be pretty generous of him. He is an incredible designer,” she told W -- though the tomboy isn't sure she wants to wear a dress at all.
“It really depends on what sort of wedding I decide to have -- if I go with a jeans and t-shirt option, then maybe it wouldn’t be quite right. I haven’t decided on anything yet,” Knightley added.
