What Should Beyonce Sing At the 2013 Super Bowl Halftime Show? (READERS RESPOND)

Beyonce Won't 'Star'
She drops out of Clint Eastwood's 'A Star Is Born' remake.
Let the “Countdown” begin!

Beyonce Knowles loosely — but very much obviously — confirmed she’ll be performing at the Super Bowl in February by posting a cheeky photo on her Tumblr Tuesday, in which the 31-year-old mega-star dons eye black with the date “Feb. 3, 2012″ splashed across.

“Countdown to Touchdown,” the caption reads, as Knowles puckers up in bright-red lipstick.

The photo was posted just hours after sources for the Associated Press placed Knowles at the coveted halftime show, set to air air live from New Orleans on Feb. 13, 2013.

An official announcement from CBS, which will air the game, is expected to come on Wednesday. Knowles will follow Madonna’s much-anticipated, if slightly underwhelming, performance from earlier this year.

Naturally, given that Knowles — who on Oct. 6 surprised fans with a live performance at Jay-Z’s final concert in Brooklyn — is such a popular figure on Celebuzz, the staff decided to poll readers to see which songs they’d like to see her perform during the show.

Below, check out the best responses (with video, natch):

The majority of readers — among them Sweetycaramel M., Bianca M. and Serena N. — want to see Knowles perform her uptempo, forever key-changing hit “Love on Top.”

Also popular among fans like Rainbow C., Brandi M. and Grile L. was the lead single off 4, “Run the World (Girls).”

Shaquajah G., meanwhile, went for more of a deeper cut, with “Dance For You.”

As for Russ L., he went the old-school route with “Check on It.”

What about you? What would you like to see Knowles perform next February? Share your thoughts in the comments!
