Recently, the 22-year-old released "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" as the first single for her upcoming album, Red. The catchy break-up tune caused many to speculate which of her former beaus she was singing about.
In fact, ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas -- who dated Swift in 2008 -- even stepped out to deny reports the single was about their tumultuous split after it had reached no. 1 on the charts.

Though Swift never confirmed it, many fans suspected that actor Jake Gyllenhaal was the inspiration behind the song.
