The Duchess Diary: Update on Kate Middleton’s French Vacation Lodge; Prince William Continues Charity Work
Weeks after the eruption of Kate Middleton’s nude photo scandal, the French lodge where the Duchess and her husband Prince William vacationed has now become a tourist site.
Queen Elizabeth’s nephew Viscount Linley, who owns the 19th century hunting lodge, has reportedly rejected offers from wealthy visitors who are interested in staying at the same home where a topless Duchess was photographed back in the summer.
Meanwhile, Prince William continued with more charity work this week.
The Duke, who for many years has been following the generous footsteps of his late mother Princess Diana, made joint appearances with the Duchess at the Honorable Society of the Middle Temple and the opening of the Football Association’s new training center.
Later in the week, Prince William attended two more events -- solo. The 30-year-old honored 10 inspirational kids at St. James’s Palace with the SkillForce Prince’s award, the first in his name.
“At SkillForce, they take under their wing those children and young people who have found it hard to adjust to the disciplined learning environment necessary for a good education,” he said at the event.
