Kim Kardashian and boyfriend Kanye West were dressed to the nines at the 2012 Angel Ball in New York City on Oct. 22. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star donned a a Grecian-inspired Balmain blue gown, complete with flattering thigh-high slits, matching Lorraine Schwartz sapphire earrings and killer Mugler heels.

Usually looking completely flawless, the 32-year-old went for a messy braid to play up her stunning features.

It’s been a whirlwind last few days for the two lovebirds. The rapper whisked away his better half for a romantic birthday weekend in Italy.

Kardashian blogged, “we started in Rome, saw the Colosseum, went to the Vatican and saw the Sistine Chapel. So breathtaking!”

The two then spent her birthday in Venice, where they toured the sights hand-in-hand and went for an intimate birthday dinner.

Kardashian added, “What a romantic weekend! One that I’ll never forget.”
