Jessica Biel’s Pink Wedding Dress: Celebrity Brides Who Didn’t Wear White (GALLERY)
As revealed by PEOPLE, the 31-year-old actress donned a custom petal pink Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown for her big day, while Timberlake, 31, wore a Tom Ford tux.
The former 7th Heaven star is just the latest celebrity bride to wear something other than traditional white dress to her wedding.
Biel’s pink wedding gown comes just two weeks after Amber Tamblyn tied the knot — in yellow. On Oct. 6, the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants actress wore a canary yellow dress as she walked down the aisle (barefoot) to meet her husband-to-be, Arrested Development star David Cross.
Anne Hathaway added a splash of pink to along the hem of the gown she wore to her Sept. 29 nuptials to Adam Shulman in Big Sur, CA.
The Dark Knight Rises actress’ wedding gown was custom made by Valentino, who went with an off-the-shoulder look made of ivory silk point d’espirit tulle and a pink hand-painted train, complete with satin flowers.
Anne’s dip-dyed hem reminded us of another famous bride who infused pink into her bridal look: We’re talking about Gwen Stefani’s iconic John Galliano for Dior wedding dress.
Another bride all dressed in pink, Reese Witherspoon opted for a classic strapless Monique Lhuillier gown but in blush to marry Jim Toth in Ojai, CA on March 26, 2011.
And then there are the brides who went with more daring hues for their wedding gowns.
For her 2006 nuptials to Marilyn Manson, Dita Von Teese chose a purple Vivienne Westwood gown.
Singer Kelis married rapper Nas in a green, white and gold ensemble, which you may recall Nas posing with earlier this summer on the cover of his new album Life is Good — three years after the couple split.
