Prince Harry's Naked Party Pal Claims British Secret Service Put Her In Jail
Carrie Reichert claims her month-long stint in prison was orchestrated by the British secret service as punishment for giving an interview about her Vegas romp with Prince Harry.
"I believe the British secret service or whoever protects the royals have something to do with my situation," Reichert -- who was booked in August for allegedly bouncing over $21,000 worth of checks -- said Tuesday, according to The Daily Telegraph.
Reichert was arrested Aug. 24 in San Diego on felony fraud charges while trying to board a plane to Mexico, and spent 30 days in a Mississippi prison.
Just prior to her arrest, Reichert sat down with The People, during which she revealed she was handpicked to hang out in the Las Vegas hotel suite where naked photos of Prince Harry were taken and subsequently released.
"He would just randomly walk up to you and hug you," Reichert -- who claimed she was 32, but was later revealed to be 40 -- continued. "He was just really friendly and there were just really random naked hugs. It was funny."
Her claims were later denied by the palace officials.
"She became very high-profile very quickly because of an interview she gave that had an impact," Donald Rafferty said. "I am not convinced that Mississippi authorities were the ones necessarily stirring [things], but something was. She is disappointed and very upset over the way this is going down. She has several legitimate defenses."
