Now that’s a celebration.

The American Music Awards will ring in its 40th anniversary with performances from Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj and Linkin Park in November, Dick Clark Productions announced Wednesday morning.

The musicians will join previously announced performer Christina Aguilera, who revealed this year’s nominees two weeks ago.

Swift, 22, is already having a big week thanks to the release of her fourth studio album, Red, and the premiere of her new music video for “Begin Again.”

The 10-time AMA winner, who is up for best female country artist this year (against Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood), is on pace to sell 1 million copies of Red in its first week; Billboard reported that the album sold over 500,000 copies on its first day. Let’s hope Swift makes her famous award-winning shocked face if she takes home a prize in November.

Minaj, 29, is tied with Rihanna for most AMA nominations at four. The Starships singer will be vying for prizes in the favorite female artist (pop/rock), favorite album (pop/rock), favorite artist (rap/hip-hop) and favorite album (rap/hip-hop) categories.

Meanwhile the boys of Linkin Park, who released their fifth studio album Living Things earlier this summer, are up for one AMA this year. The band, along with The Black Keys and Gotye, is up for favorite artist (alternative rock).

The 40th American Music Awards will be handed out at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, Nov. 18 at 8PM ET live on ABC.
