TV Buzz: FOX's 'American Idol,' 'Touch,' 'The Following' Premiere Dates Announced; MTV's 'Snooki & JWoww' Returns in January
Though MTV’s Jersey Shore is currently airing its final season, Snooki & JWoww will be back in the winter. Season 2 of their spinoff will premiere Tuesday, Jan. 8 at 10 PM. This season will be supersized as all 12 episodes will be an hour long. On the second season, we’ll get an inside look into Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi preparing for her son Lorenzo and Jennifer “JWoww” Farley getting engaged. [MTV]
The Bravermans have done it! NBC’s Parenthood beat both CBS’ Vegas and ABC’s Private Practice in the ad-coveted 18-49 demographic with a 1.9 rating. The only show to beat the drama in the 10 o’clock hour was FOX’s makeup broadcast of The X Factor. Meanwhile, the premieres of ABC’s Happy Endings and Don’t Trust the B in Apartment 23 were both down from their previous season premieres. FOX’s New Girl took the gold in the demographic at 9 PM while Go On had the most overall viewers with 6.4 million viewers. [TVLine]
