Katie Holmes' ‘Project Runway All Stars’ Teaser: Just Days After Announcing Divorce, She Happily Cruised Through Promo (VIDEO)
Katie Holmes makes her appearance as a guest judge on the season premiere of Lifetime’s Project Runway All Stars Thursday, marking her first television appearance since her divorce from Tom Cruise.
Holmes' guest appearance on the reality show is garnering a boatload of attention -- because it was filmed a mere four days after the actress announced her split from Cruise.
But Holmes' debut on the reality show reveals no signs of what was going on in her personal life at the time.
Despite the fact that news of her divorce had gone public days before the taping, the actress appeared in high spirits, showing no signs of stress while judging the contestants' designs.
Holmes' appearance marks another step in the 33-year-old actress' budding fashion career. In September, Holmes and her friend and stylist, Jeanne Yang debuted their clothing line, Holmes & Yang, at New York Fashion Week for the first time.$50 million lawsuit against celebrity magazines Life & Style and In Touch for claiming that he abandoned his daughter Suri since his divorce.
“Tom is a caring father who dearly loves Suri. She’s a vital part of his life and always will be. To say he has ‘abandoned’ her is a vicious lie. To say it in lurid headlines with a tearful picture of Suri is reprehensible,” Cruise’s lawyer, Bert Fields said in a statement, according to Today Entertainment.
The Mission Impossible star, 50, is heated over two cover stories published by the magazines in July and September – reading “Abandoned by Daddy” and “Abandoned by Her Dad” -- which reported that Suri, 6, has gone without seeing her father.
Suri is Holmes’ only child after her 5 1/2-year marriage to Cruise. She sought sole custody after filing for divorce in June.
