'Twilight' Star Robert Pattinson Calls 'Breaking Dawn - Part II' Sex Scene 'Pretty Ridiculous'
"The sex scene in this one is pretty ridiculous," Pattinson, 26, told The Kyle & Jackie O show while promoting Breaking Dawn in Australia.
"It's just because you're kind of shooting stuff to be PG-13, and so it's just trying to think of inventive ways to try to make something sexy."
"It also can't just be a normal sex scene," he added, describingwhat it was like to shoot the scene with co-star Kristen Stewart. "It's supposed to be about, like, the greatest vampire sex you've ever had. So a lot of it was just closeups on me and Kristen's faces, but there was no one else there."
"You literally try and give a face of ecstasy ... Guys' faces I don't think are really designed to do that ... The cameraman was laughing as well."Taylor Lautner and Stewart are promoting the film elsewhere, in Brazil and Japan, respectively.
The uber-popular franchise made headlines last year thanks to the sex scene in Breaking Dawn - Part I, in which Bella (Stewart) and Edward (Pattinson) finally consummate their relationship in a passionate, bed-breaking moment.
Breaking Dawn - Part II hits theaters nationwide on Nov. 16.
