'Skyfall' Writer Returning for Two More 'Bond' Movies
Daniel Craig will return for two more James Bond movies, and he’s taking one of the writers of Skyfall with him.
Screenwriter John Logan will pen Bond 24 and Bond 25, Deadline reported Friday. The next installment in the venerable franchise will hit theatres Fall 2014.
According to Deadline, Logan’s pitch to Bond producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson is for a two-movie arc. This will mark the series’ first attempt to tell a story across two successive films. Deadline also states that Logan has already begun work on the scripts.
The Oscar-nominated screenwriter of Gladiator is credited on Skyfall with the writing team of Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, who have written every Bond film since 1999’s The World Is Not Enough. Logan will write these next installments solo.
