Amanda Bynes Says She'll Sue Tabloid Over Claims of 'Tanning Salon Striptease' (EXCLUSIVE)
In Touch magazine reported the 26-year-old former Nickelodeon actress was set up in a private room at Beach Bum Tanning and proceeded to walk around the main salon area in search of goggles -- completely nude.
An eyewitness claimed Bynes appeared "painfully thin" and "didn't seem to care that everyone saw her naked."
"That's not true, I'll sue," Bynes told Celebuzz via text message, late on Wednesday.
A worker at the 75th Street Manhattan location of the salon, who wished to remain anonymous, confirmed Bynes does frequent the salon but added, "she is always polite when she comes in."
"When she's in she's usually just in and out," the store staffer said.
The magazine added "she seemed totally out of it," according to its source.
It's been a tumultuous year for Bynes, who faces two hit-and-run court charges, a DUI and two counts of driving with a suspended license.
She was not present during a Van Nuys, Calif., hearing late in September when her lawyer, Richard Hutton, pleaded not guilty the the hit and run charges.
Bynes previously told Celebuzz that all recent allegations made against the actress' erratic behavior were "all lies."
