Hurricane Sandy Telethon: Bruce Springsteen, Christina Aguilera, Jon Bon Jovi to Perform on NBC Benefit
Victims and areas affected by Hurricane Sandy will receive some help from some of the music industry’s biggest names on Friday.
NBC Universal announced on Thursday morning that it will hold a one-hour telethon that will include performances from New Jersey natives Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi, New Yorker Billy Joel, Christina Aguilera and Sting.
In addition to NBC, the telethon will broadcast simultaneously on Bravo, CNBC, E!, G4, MSNBC, Style, Syfy and USA. Viewers can also tune in online at NBC.com.
Since hitting the East Coast on Monday night, Hurricane Sandy has left millions without power. The Associated Press reports that the death toll has climbed to at least 74 people in the U.S.
Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together will air Friday at 8PM ET.
