Taylor Swift Performs ‘Begin Again’ at CMA Awards 2012, Walks Away Empty-Handed (VIDEO)
While Taylor Swift didn't take home any hardware on Thursday, the country superstar still made a big splash at the 46th Annual Country Music Association Awards.
Donning an adorable white-and-red polka-dot dress — her second outfit of the evening — Swift treated country music lovers to her new single, "Begin Again."
The 22-year-old gave her everything on stage, a Paris set that resembled the recently released music video for the track.
Swift, who was up for three awards Thursday night, was the favorite to win Entertainer of the Year, a trophy she's received twice before.Blake Shelton, who, along with wife Miranda Lambert, took home some of the evening's biggest awards.
Earlier this week, Swift made headlines after receiving the final first week numbers on her fourth studio album, Red. According to Billboard, the album sold a whopping 1.208 million copies in the U.S., making it the biggest first week the music industry has seen in a decade.
"They just told me Red sold 1.2 million albums first week. How is this real life?! You are UNREAL. I love you so much. Thanks a million," Swift wrote on Twitter.
