One Direction is taking the stage on the U.S. version of The X Factor for a special performance. The group, which found fame on the U.K. version of the show, will sing, “Live While We’re Young” and “Little Things,” on Thursday’s live results show at 8 PM EST/ tape delayed PST. [FOX]

Gossip Girl and Buffy alum Michelle Trachtenberg will guest star on CBS’ Criminal Minds next year. Given her most recent role as the crazy Georgina on Gossip Girl, the actress should do a killer job in this role. Trachtenberg will play a stalker who loses her mind when she isn’t offered a job. She will appear in early 2013 on Episode 12. [EW]

NBC’s The Voice will also feature two special performances on Thursday’s live elimination show. Coach Adam Levine and his band, Maroon 5, will perform their brand new single, “Daylight.”  Adding to the event, Jermiane Paul, the Season 2 Champ of The Voice, will also debut his single, “I Believe In This Life.” The Voice airs live on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday this week at 8 PM EST/tape delayed PST. ABC’s Once Upon a Time is on a roll with another tick up in the ratings this week. The show, which has seen ratings rise for the past three weeks, was the only Sunday series to climb in numbers with 10.1 million viewers. Meanwhile fellow freshman ABC drama, 666 Park Avenue hit a new low with only 4.1 million viewers. NBC’s Sunday Night Football led the pack with 18.6 million viewers. [TV Guide]

A new special on TLC, Extreme Cougar Wives, is giving us a peek into the lives of three woman, age 50 and up who like to date young. Taking the saying, “age is only a number” to the limit, the show will follow the women and their beaus (all in their 20s) as they engage in relationships. Extreme Cougar Wives airs on Sunday, Nov. 25 at 10 PM. [TLC]

Aisha Tyler is heading to FOX’s Glee. The actress and The Talk co-host will play newbie Jake ‘s (Jacob Artist) mom on the show. Though there is no word on when the episode will air, the actress is shooting her guest role now. [TVLine]

Fans of football and HBO’s Hard Knocks series should be happy about this news. The Travel Channel, NFL Films and RIVR Media have teamed up for a new series, NFL Road Tested: The Cleveland Browns. The series will provide an unprecedented look into how a team travels on the road during the season. The drummer of ColdplayWill Champion, is set to guest on Season 3 of HBO’s Game of Thrones. Champion will play a drummer on the hit show.  He is the second of two musicians to be cast. Last summer, Snow Patrol lead singer Gary Lightbody was also cast in a cameo role. Game of Thrones’ third season premieres March 31, 2013. [EW]
