Now that all of the Top 20 contestants on NBC’s The Voice have performed, its time for a big elimination.

On Thursday’s live show, eight contestants will be sent home as America will vote to save two singers from each team. Each Coach – Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton – will then have the choice to save one of the three remaining contenders on their team to complete the Top 12.

As we did on Wednesday with Team Adam and Team Blake, Celebuzz is ranking the live performances of Team Christina and Team Cee Lo and predicting who we think will move into the Top 12 on Thursday.

Here are our predictions so far:

Team Christina

For us, the two locks for the Top 12 on Xtina’s team are definitely De’Borah and Sylvia Yacoub. De’Borah’s energy and personality along with her voice make her a surefire threat to any singer in the competition. Also, we can’t wait to see her parents’ reactions when she makes it to the next round. If they are anything like their previous appearances on the show, we may need tissues, and lots of them.

Yacoub also did a knockout job in her live performance on Wednesday, broadening her appeal past those who just respected her powerhouse vocals and her “fire.” We think the vulnerability she showed in “The One That Got Away” was fantastic.

As for the third Team Christina contestant that we think will make it through – that would be Dez Duron. If only for the fact that the ladies ADORE him and if we’re being real, that is who votes in these competitions. Dez has an above average voice and sounded good on Wednesday but his looks will take him to the next round. While Devyn DeLorea and Adriana Louise are both extremely talented, we think their similarities will cancel each other out and send them both home.

Team Cee Lo

We are calling shenanigans if Trevin Hunte doesn’t go through to the Top 12. We can’t see how there is any way possible that he wouldn’t make it, especially after Wednesday’s stunning performance of “How Am I Supposed To Live Without You.” He’s been a rock star and a frontrunner since he hit the stage in the blind auditions. Therefore, America, we hope you did your job and voted for him.

Cody Belew also seems like a sure thing to us as the coaches heaped on tons of praise for him on Wednesday. Like Aguilera said in her feedback to him, “[We] can’t help but smile when [we] watched you.” We just love that Arkansas boy with the big personality.

While we’re not sure if America will vote for Nicholas David as Green pleaded last night, we have an inkling that the Goodie Mob frontman will save his team member who he says is cut from the same cloth as him. As his coach told him, “You just really can do no wrong in my book. I really think you deserve to go all the way.” We sincerely hope he does.

Given that Green told Peruvian Diego Val, “I think we can go forward as long as America says so,” and Justin Bieber lookalike Mackenzie Bourg, “You have to make America believe,” we think it’s safe to assume that he will not be saving either of these singers if they aren’t voted on by the viewers. Given their average performances on Wednesday, we think they’ll be headed home.

The first live eliminations on The Voice take place Thursday at 8 PM ET/ tape delayed PT on NBC.
